A sober and responsible man, Rome (or Roma as he will insist on being called - a point of national pride) has been the head of l'Ordine Italiano for the past four years - and each one of them weighs a little heavier on him as it passes. Now aged thirty-six, he finds himself questioning just how much longer he can bring himself to govern in a system that seems so inherently undemocratic. Before being recruited in to the Order by the Genoa of the time Gian had spent his time as a leading law researcher for the deparment of the Corte Suprema di Cassazione but his first and only love has always been painting. Although having given up his dreams of becoming a professional artist when he embarked on his law career, Gian made sure that he would always set some time aside to keep it up as a hobby after joining the Order. It became his own very unique coping mechanism - the frustrations and worries that he, as a capital city operative, came across on a daily basis were worked out on canvas. preoccupied ● overly-thoughtful ● bleak |
